Race: Arcadia (2 Miles) 00:09:14, Place overall: 18
Total Distance
9.00

Warmed up 2.5 miles and checked in. Gun went off and I settled in around the back and let everyone pass until me and Connor were basically in dead last. It was a fast race so I just let the pack carry me. When Connor went, I tried to go with him but couldn't. He ended up in 2nd with a 9:07 so huge shoutout to him! I tried to stay on pace and hold on the last few laps, passed some people and finished in 18th. Got a 9:14 which is a PR. Felt strong and but had stomach problems before, during, and after the race so I need to get that taken care of. Cooled down 4.5 miles and watched the invitational which was sick.

Shoutout to the Heaps for letting me come here with them, what nice people. And shoutout to all those fellow bloggers who raced, you the real MVPs. It was a great week
