Footlocker West (3.1 Miles) 00:16:12, Place overall: 21, Place in age division: 21 | | Got to the course and watched some races. Bro and mom surprised me and drove down so he came with us on 2 mile warmup. Went to the start line, stretches, and strides, pretty relaxed. Gun went off and I got out horrible. I was probably around 50th place the first mile so I tried to move up hardcore but I was so far back. Felt good tho and I'm glad I got a medal and third team all west. Did a half mile at the beach later.
Shout out to Connor Baller for qualifying for nationals! He's worked so hard and earned his spot as one of the best runners in the nation.

| | My body is trashed, especially my calves so just did 20 min of abs and got rolled out. Went to Thom's house for race pics and power balls. Lifted upper body at legacy then balled. Gonna take 2-3 weeks off running before track so adios.

| | 4 at 7:25 pace. Felt good to run again. Started out slow but picked it up and got the legs moving on the way back. Did a bike workout for 40 min. then lifted lower body.

| | Easy 4 in the snow. No watch so I ran the same route as yesterday. Pace felt fresh, probably sub 7. Opened up for a little ways on the way back down. Did a 25 min bike workout and lifted upper body back at the school

| | Ran on the trail with my bro, Derek, and Kjysten from the old lehi team. Went a little over 2 out with them and then turned around. Legs felt pretty heavy from squats and lunges yesterday so I picked it up on the way back to loosen them up. Got back and did strides and got to 5. Did some upper body

| | Me and my bro thought it'd be sick to do a night run in the Christmas blizzard. We started at 11:45 last night and did 4 easy miles at 7:55 pace. Kept looking at the time and yelled merry Christmas at midnight. It was cool cuz it was coming down like crazy and there was half a foot of snow on the roads. Gonna make it a tradition

| | 5.5 miles, half of it in pretty deep snow on the trail. Threw in a 6:25 middle mile, averaged out to 7:05 pace. Good first week back

| | 4 miles in St George. Started with my bros on these cool trails but none of them went very far, first mile was around 7:45. Picked it up to sub 7 after that on a sick paved trail. Average was 7:15.

| | Used the watch on a hike so it didn't last through the run. Went a little over 2 before it died, 7:05 and 6:21. Had to go off time after that, gonna call it 5 miles. Kept the pace pretty fast probably 6:30, felt good. Ran down and around Desert Hills High School and some roads around there, nice place.

| | 5.5 at 6:50 average. Ran on some legit dirt trails, went up some monsterous hills. Wanted to keep going but still building mileage back up.
Good year. Accomplished a lot but know I have a lot of room to improve. Set some good goals for track, excited to work harder and chase those goals.
