The group went pretty slow today so me and Collin left them. Went down Sami's road but Collin turned around at 2.5 and I kept going by myself. Turned around at 4 and started going back. Today was the wrong day to not bring a jacket and I froze. So I used Watson's saying "the faster you run the sooner you're done." Checked out this "trail" but it ended up being someone's driveway lol. It warmed up and stopped snowing the closer I got to the high school which was nice. I decided to go back down through the pit to get to 9 but quickly found out that was the worst decision of the century. My shoes soon became 5 pound mud weights and I didn't want it to get worse so I climbed my way out up the side of the mountain, pretty adventurous I know. Ended up being 9 miles at 6:48 average pace. 10 minutes on the bike and a good roll out session with Collin who also hooked me up with some KT tape, what a great guy
